Looping was designed and built in Belgium by the designer Richard Luscher, as the prototype for the LOOPING range which has been a wildly successful custom built range of world cruising performance catamarans. Why is performance important to your charter? Speed that is comfortably attained means trips between anchorages happen quicker and without getting beat up at sea. Your cruising grounds are spread wider and the opportunities to see more of what is on offer in Fiji's Fabulous Far North are there for the taking. No motoring around at 5 knots that will take up most of your day. We sail at 8-15 knots almost all of the time and motor at 7, a normal condomaran production boat will take at least 25-50% longer to get where you are going and a hydraulic steering system removes all the feel and the fun of steering a performance boat. To make an analogy with cars one is a Ferrari and one is a school bus. Come experience the joys of sailing a real performance catamaran and you will be back again and again!

Looping has 2 queen staterooms, 2 double staterooms a workshop and expansive bridge deck with galley, dining, lounging and navigation area. The yacht has 1 large shower washroom area and a separate room with a toilet. This is a proper bathroom arrangement, no closet sized shower, toilet lockers spread around the boat. She has a 40 litter per hour desalinator, hot water showers, 220 volt power and a large solar array that provides all/most of the yachts power requirements. She can accommodate 10 people for inside and outside dining. She is also certified to accommodate 15 people for offshore waters. Seating and lounging for 15 is far from cramped as we have had cocktail parties onboard for 40 people on numerous occasions. She is a safe and stable platform that will comfortably deliver you to the next exotic location like a magic carpet.

Our cruising area is quite expansive, consisting of our base in Taveuni which can be reached by plane from all airports in Fiji or by Ferry from Suva or Vanua Levu. We have a plethora of exotic anchorages in all directions from our base in Matei and all sailing trips are planned on the day of the trip to take advantage of the days weather conditions. We have no set itineraries as this allows us to pick the destination with the perfect combination of sailing direction and protection form the open ocean. We sail to Qamea, Matangi, Laucala, Rarantiqa, Yanuda, Yavu, Cobia, Nuku basoga, Nukusemanu, Ngelelevu, Rambi, Kioa, Vanua Levu, Wailagilala, Duff reef, Vanua Balavu and all of Lau group on extended Charters of 7 days or more.
